The economic development of the People´s Republic of China and the increase in our activities in the field of legal relations with the People´s Republic of China have caused us to apply for a license to open an office in Shanghai. In March 1995, we were the first German law firm to obtain such licence.
Our clients are mainly German companies and enterprises from the European Union as well as their subsidiaries in the People´s Republic of China.
The work for our clients in this field is facilitated by the fact that our Chinese-speaking German lawyers in Shanghai have acquired a thorough understanding of Chinese mentality during several years of previous stays in the People´s Republic of China. They are supported by highly qualified Chinese legal assistants who also speak English.
Our office is presently staffed with two German attorneys-at-law and three Chinese legal assistants. |
