born 1972 in Bremerhaven.
Studies of law and Legal traineeship in Bremen with internship at German Department of Eversheds, London. Admitted to the bar 2001. Until 2003 Attorney-at-law with Bremen law firm Ahlers & Vogel, specializing in Construction and Maritime Law. Subsequently relocating with Hamburg law firm Grimme focussing on Maritime and Insurance Law. Joined the firm in late 2004 and became a partner beginning of 2008.
